“The Other Place”

When "Try To Understand" was pressed as a 7″ vinyl single in 1966, its B-side was the non-LP song "The Other Place". The single was immediately withdrawn by GNP Crescendo and the song became a lost Seeds obscurity. It was unavailable until 1977’s rarities LP Fallin' Off The Edge. "The Other Place" features a saxophone played by Hollywood scenester Jimmie Maddin. Lucky buyers may find an original copy of the single, or "The Other Place" can be found on various compilations.
