"Come Together", John Lennon’s great latter-day Beatles song, was an inspired choice by Sky Saxon for his 2008 album of 60s covers, The King Of Garage Rock. Sky’s band is fantastic on "Come Together", as they are on the whole album, and Sky sounds like he’s enjoying being so near (in a way) to the undisputed kings of 1960s musical art. It’s the second Beatles cover on the album, after the equally odd choice "Love Me Do".
